Be the safety net someone desperately needs.
You don't need a medical degree to save a life. Many kidney patients have the medical care they need, but lack the physical community and emotional stamina to endure it alone. Choose a volunteer path that fits your life style.
🚗 Treatment Companion
Provide presence. You will be matched with a local patient to drive them to appointments, sit with them during long, exhausting dialysis treatments, or keep them company on tough days.
📣 Digital Advocate / Voice Surrogate
Provide a voice. Many isolated patients feel uncomfortable asking the public for help. You will act as a dedicated advocate—building social media profiles, telling their stories safely, and running community campaigns to help them find a living donor.
🏡 Local Care Pod Member
Provide logistics. Join a local neighborhood circle that gets activated when a patient receives a transplant. Help with grocery drop-offs, picking up prescriptions, or checking in on them during their multi-week home recovery.
Because our volunteers work closely with vulnerable individuals navigating complex health journeys, we hold a high standard of trust:
- Submit your initial registration form.
- Complete a 15-minute introductory video chat with a coordinator.
- Pass a standard background and identity verification check.
- Attend our brief, online social companionship training framework.
